Synopsis:
After saving the planet from an alien invasion last season, the Legends deserve a break. Too bad their time travel ship, the Waverider, gets blown up by a second Waverider…meaning the Legends are now trapped in 1925 Odessa, Texas! The only way to get home, and get payback on their mysterious new enemy, is to journey across the country to an early pioneer of time travel, who might just be their only hope of returning home. But with no Waverider, no way of knowing how they’re impacting the timeline, and a time-traveling foe hunting them, this will be the toughest mission yet for the Legends. Some more bad news today for fans of the DC TV Universe on The CW (aka the ‘Arrowverse’) as The CW has now additionally cancelled ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ after seven seasons. 
Some great news today for fans of many series currently airing on The CW as the network has granted early renewals to 12 of their current shows including many that have just debuted for their current season or have yet to do so. The list of renewals includes freshman series ‘Walker’, plus DC shows ‘Batwoman’, ‘The Flash’ and ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’, plus ‘Riverdale’ and a number more. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment have officially announced and detailed their physical releases for the fifth season of the DC Comics series ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ which will air its season finale June 2 on The CW. ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: The Complete Fifth Season’ will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD beginning September 22, 2020. The CW has officially announced today that they have renewed 10 series for the upcoming 2019-2020 Fall TV season including ‘Supernatural’, ‘Riverdale’, freshman shows ‘Legacies’ and ‘Charmed’, along with the whole DC lineup and more.
