Some great news today for fans of many series currently airing on The CW as the network has granted early renewals to 12 of their current shows including many that have just debuted for their current season or have yet to do so. The list of renewals includes freshman series ‘Walker’, plus DC shows ‘Batwoman’, ‘The Flash’ and ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’, plus ‘Riverdale’ and a number more. Warner Archive Collection has now announced a number of new TV releases arriving on Blu-ray and DVD this September. Included on the list of new titles is ‘Prodigal Son: The Complete First Season’ on Blu-ray and DVD, plus ‘Riverdale: The Complete Fourth Season’ on DVD and ‘Mom: The Complete Seventh Season’ on DVD and more. The announcement also mentions a September release for ‘Harley Quinn: Seasons 1 and 2’ which appears to feature both seasons of the animated series on Blu-ray, although further details for that release weren’t included like the other releases. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their DVD release of ‘Riverdale: The Complete Second Season’ which will be available to own on August 7, 2018. Just as with the first season of the series, the sophomore season will additionally be available to own on Blu-ray the same day from Warner Archive Collection and will include all of the same extras. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has now officially announced and detailed their releases of ‘Riverdale: The Complete First Season’ based upon the famous Archie characters. The show’s first season will be available to own beginning August 15, 2017 on DVD everywhere, and also on *Blu-ray via the Warner Archive Collection. The CW has now revealed their 2017 Fall Schedule, making the fifth and final network to do so. The CW’s fall lineup includes ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ continuing to follow ‘The Flash’ on Tuesdays, ‘Riverdale’ followed by the ‘Dynasty’ reboot on Wednesdays, and ‘Supernatural’ and ‘Arrow’ on Thursdays.
