NBC has officially renewed freshman comedy series ‘A.P. Bio’ for a second season.
The CW has confirmed the fates for two of their current series, officially canceling freshman series ‘Life Sentence’ after one season and renewing ‘The 100’ for a sixth season.
CBS announced today that they have officially renewed 11 more series from their lineup for the upcoming 2018-19 season. The list of renewals includes ‘Hawaii Five-0’, ‘Blue Bloods’, ‘Bull’, ‘Madam Secretary’, ‘MacGyver’ and more. Continue after the jump to see the full list of shows CBS renewed today.
The CW has now revealed their 2017 Fall Schedule, making the fifth and final network to do so. The CW’s fall lineup includes ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ continuing to follow ‘The Flash’ on Tuesdays, ‘Riverdale’ followed by the ‘Dynasty’ reboot on Wednesdays, and ‘Supernatural’ and ‘Arrow’ on Thursdays. CBS made the fourth network to reveal their 2017 Fall Schedule yesterday (my apologies for the slight delay on getting it on the site) which includes much of the same, with new spinoff series ‘Young Sheldon’ joining ‘The Big Bang Theory’ on Thursdays following a special one-time Monday preview; ‘Man with a Plan’ and ‘Elementary’ get held until mid-season and more. ABC has now announced their 2017 Fall Schedule which includes a number of new shows, along with a few changes. Longtime Sunday series ‘Once Upon A Time’ will move to Friday at 8 leading in to the Marvel’s new series ‘Inhumans’ at 9, with ‘Shark Tank’ moving to Sunday. A few sitcoms switch times and nights, and both ‘Agents of SHIELD’ and the ‘Roseanne’ reboot are planned for mid-season but won’t be on the schedule this fall. CBS has now made final decisions on three more shows, officially cancelling both the reboot of ‘The Odd Couple’ and ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders’, while also renewing ‘Code Black’.
Following the recent flood of renewal and cancellation announcements from the networks, NBC has now officially unveiled their upcoming Fall 2017 schedule which includes very few new shows, but does feature the return of Must See TV On Thursdays led by ‘Will & Grace’ and anchored by ‘This Is Us’, along with ‘Superstore’ & ‘The Good Place’ moving to Tuesday, ‘The Blacklist’ to Wednesday and more. CBS announced a couple of additional renewals yesterday, now officially renewing veteran shows ‘Elementary’ and ‘The Amazing Race’ for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.
CBS has now officially canceled another of its sitcoms, this time pulling the plug on freshman comedy series ‘The Great Indoors’ starring Joel Mchale.
Some exciting news today for fans of the previously canceled NBC series ‘Timeless’ as Eric Kripke took to twitter to announce that NBC has decided to un-cancel the show, officially renewing it for a second season to air later next season.
Some sad news this evening for fellow fans of the CBS comedy ‘2 Broke Girls’. Following some apparent negotiations between CBS and series owner Warner Bros, CBS has now officially canceled the veteran comedy series.
Fox also announced of a couple renewals today, officially renewing ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and and in a somewhat surprising move ‘The Exorcist’ TV series as well.
ABC has added a few more renewals to its list of recent announcements, announcing the renewal of ‘Black-ish’ last night, and renewing ‘Fresh off the Boat’ and ‘Speechless’ today as well.
ABC has just added another few cancellations to their announcements today, now officially pulling the plug on romantic comedy ‘The Catch’, and sitcoms ‘Imaginary Mary’ & ‘The Real O’Neals’.
