Fox has officially announced that they have renewed the Tim Allen starring sitcom ‘Last Man Standing’ for an eighth season (and its second season on Fox following the ABC cancellation).

While the renewal shouldn’t come as a huge surprise considering its consistently solid ratings all season on the network, the official word from Fox should still come as great news to fans of the series who may have been slightly concerned after the cancellation a few years ago on ABC. Fortunately it looks as it the Tim Allen led sitcom seems to be fitting in perfectly on Fox and won’t be going anywhere too soon.
