call me kat tv series imageSome unfortunate news today for fans of the comedy series ‘Call Me Kat’ starring Mayim Bialik as Fox has cancelled the series after three seasons.

The cancellation of ‘Call Me Kat’ which has now been reported by multiple sources follows declining ratings for the sitcom in its third season and what many felt was an improper fit with the network’s new comedy series ‘Animal Control’ (which has yet to receive an official renewal/cancellation decision as of yet). The third season finale of ‘Call Me Kat’ which aired last night will now additionally serve as the series finale.

The cast of ‘Call Me Kat’ included Mayim Bialik, Kyla Pratt, Leslie Jordan, Julian Gant, Cheyenne Jackson and Swoosie Kurtz. Jim Patterson and Maria Ferrari served as executive producers and co-showrunners.

Were you a fan of ‘Call Me Kat’ and are you disappointed that it won’t be returning for another season on Fox? Don’t hesitate to sound off in the comments with your thoughts on the news and the series itself.

Synopsis via Fox: Emmy Award-nominated CALL ME KAT is based on the British series “Miranda,” created by Miranda Hart. The series stars Emmy Award nominee Mayim Bialik as an optimistic and fun-loving woman continuously defying societal expectations, and her mother’s wishes, to prove she can live a happy and fulfilling life on her own terms.
