Some disappointing news today for fans of drama series ‘Prodigal Son’ as Fox has officially cancelled the show after two seasons.

The cancellation of ‘Prodigal Son’ arrives after Fox renewed freshman comedy series ‘Call Me Kat’ earlier today. ‘Prodigal Son’ stars Tom Payne and Lou Diamond Phillips and word on the cancellation follows consistently low numbers for the series. The show’s cancellation now means that the upcoming season two finale on May 18 will now additionally serve as the series finale.
