Some great news today for fans of NBC’s two newest comedy series ‘Young Rock’ and ‘Kenan’ as the network has now officially renewed both for a second season.

The renewals for a second season of freshman comedies ‘Young Rock’ and Kenan’ arrive just after ‘Kenan’ aired its season one finale this Tuesday, while ‘Young Rock’ still has a couple episodes to air.

Both shows feature notable talent, with ‘Young Rock’ focusing on the younger days of superstar Dwayne Johnson as told by the star himself in a fictitious future where he’s running for president, and ‘Kenan’ stars Kenan Thompson as a widowed father struggling to balance work, life and everything else.

Both shows have retained steady numbers in their debut seasons and they now join other freshman sitcom ‘Mr. Mayor’ in being confirmed for another season.
