NBC announced some great news for ‘Will and Grace’ fans last night, officially renewing the ‘Will and Grace’ revival series for a third season, in addition to upping the episode count for the previously renewed second season, all before the first season has even wrapped.
We have some slightly belated news from AMC who announced over the weekend that they have officially renewed ‘The Walking Dead’ for a ninth season while additionally announcing a new showrunner for the series. AMC also announced the season four premiere date for ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ which is scheduled to debut on April 15, 2018.
TBS officially announced today that they have renewed ‘American Dad’ and ‘Full Frontal With Samantha Bee’ for two additional seasons each, as well as renewing ‘Snoop Dogg’s Joker’s Wild’ and ‘Drop The Mic’ each for one more season.
Fox announced today that they have officially renewed the Marvel based series ‘The Gifted’ for a second season.
With the season five premiere set to air next Sunday, Showtime has now officially renewed ‘Ray Donovan’ for a sixth season.
CBS All Access has officially renewed the latest ‘Star Trek’ series ‘Star Trek: Discovery’ for a second season.
Netflix has now officially granted their Jason Bateman starring series ‘Ozark’ a second season.
Following the best ratings either series has seen thus far (likely due in part to that helpful ‘Game of Thrones’ lead-in) HBO has now officially renewed both ‘Ballers’ and ‘Insecure’ for new season’s to debut next year.
NBC has already officially announced that their upcoming ‘Will and Grace’ revival has now been renewed for an additional season. NBC has also released a new promo video for the upcoming revival which you can view after the jump.
CBS announced a couple of additional renewals yesterday, now officially renewing veteran shows ‘Elementary’ and ‘The Amazing Race’ for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.
Fox also announced of a couple renewals today, officially renewing ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ and and in a somewhat surprising move ‘The Exorcist’ TV series as well.
ABC has added a few more renewals to its list of recent announcements, announcing the renewal of ‘Black-ish’ last night, and renewing ‘Fresh off the Boat’ and ‘Speechless’ today as well.
Great news for fellow fans of the 80’s centered sitcom ‘The Goldbergs’ as ABC has given the series a 2-season renewal, guaranteeing its run through Season 6.
Starz has now officially renewed their new original series ‘American Gods’ for a second season.*
Today, Fox also announced the fates for a few of its current shows, officially renewing ‘Gotham’ & ‘The Last Man on Earth’ for the Fall 2017-2018 season, while also cancelling ‘Sleepy Hollow’ after four seasons.
On the heels of the season five finale which debuted on the streaming service Tuesday, Hulu has now officially renewed ‘The Mindy Project’ for a sixth and final season.
