The series from King/Spielberg, based on the best selling novel by Stephen King has been picked up by CBS for an initial 13 episode season. While I’m happy to see this series finally get moving, I have to admit that as a huge fan of the book (one of my favorite King novels in fact) that I’m quite disappointed by the fact it will not be airing on Showtime as originally planned. This book was quite disturbing and uncompromisingly brutal and I’m honestly not sure how well this is going to work on network TV, but I guess we shall see. FX has officially announced the return dates for a number of shows today via a press release. The list includes the premiere dates for the new seasons of ‘Justified’ & ‘Archer’ as well as the return date for ‘Anger Management’ in which it will begin it’s 90 episode back order with back to back episodes every Thursday when it returns.
