For all the ‘Sex and the City’ addicts out there who have been anticipating this new CW series which acts as a prequel to the original  series, the official trailer for ‘The Carrie Diaries’ has arrived.  Continue on after the jump for the trailer.

I have personally never seen the original ‘Sex and the City’ series but i know it’s a series which has many hardcore fans out there.  A TV series doesn’t usually spawn two films and a prequel series without a pretty hardcore fan base.  Directly below you can check out the official trailer for the upcoming prequel series.

‘The Carrie Diaries’ premieres Monday, January 14 at 8/7c on The CW.  It will be taking over 90210’s time slot with 90210 moving to a new time slot behind it at 9/8c starting on the same date.
