Synopsis:
Gomez (Raul Julia) and Morticia (Anjelica Huston) welcome a new addition to the Addams household—Pubert, their soft, cuddly, and mustachioed baby boy. As Fester (Christopher Lloyd) falls hard for the new nanny (Joan Cusack), cynically suspicious Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) discover she’s a black-widow murderess. Though they’re shipped off to summer camp, Wednesday still has a Thing or two planned to save Fester and the family. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and MGM have officially announced and detailed their physical releases of ‘The Addams Family 2’. The animated sequel is now available on Digital and will be available to own on Blu-ray and DVD beginning January 18, 2022. Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced their upcoming 4K Ultra HD and Remastered Blu-ray releases of director Barry Sonnenfeld’s 1991 live-action ‘The Addams Family’ film in celebration of its 30th Anniversary which will feature an Extended Cut with an extended version of the dance number. Both physical releases will be available to own on November 9, 2021 and a Digital 4K UHD version will also be available on October 19. Paramount Home Media Distribution has officially announced and detailed upcoming Blu-ray releases for both the 1991 ‘The Addams Family’ film and its sequel ‘Addams Family Values’, with the sequel also making its Blu-ray debut. Both films will be available to own separately on Blu-ray and DVD or in a 2-film collection on October 1, 2019; just in time for the release of the new animated film.
