It’s that time again, although this year has certainly been drastically unlike any other in recent memory and the world of film has been changed dramatically to accommodate the lack of theaters open. Fortunately, while there may have been significantly fewer big blockbusters than usual seeing a release this year, there was still no shortage of great films released during 2020 in one way or another. As is usually the case, there are many that I haven’t yet had the pleasure to check out, but based on what I’ve seen over the year I’ve once again compiled the ten best films of the year in my opinion. Warner Bros. has announced some new release date shifts for a couple of their anticipated tentpole movies, pushing back ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ to an early October release, while delaying Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ by 2 weeks to July 31.
