Welcome back to another new edition of our ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ posts where we keep you informed on all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home each week, always compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group. This week’s ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ for January 28, 2021 (compiled of data for the week ended 01.23.21) sees ‘American Skin’ jumping all the way to the top spot this week from its spot in tenth last week. Meanwhile last week’s three top titles ‘Tenet’, ‘Honest Thief’ and ‘The War With Grandpa’ each move back one spot behind ‘American Skin’, with ‘Yellowstone: Season 3’ retaining its spot in fifth to round out the top five. This week’s list also sees some new titles debuting including the documentary ‘MLK/FBI’ in tenth, plus the Diane Lane and Kevin Costner led ‘Let Him Go’ which premieres right behind it in eleventh. AMERICAN SKIN JUMPS TO TOP SPOT IN DEG’S WEEKLY “WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20”
Topical drama American Skin, about a Marine veteran who seeks justice when his son is killed by a police officer, jumped from No. 10 to No. 1 in this week’s DEG “Watched at Home Top 20” list. The chart also saw four new additions, including documentary MLK/FBI with the top debut, landing at No. 10, followed by Let Him Go, a family drama starring Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, at No. 11, and thriller Horizon Line at No. 15. The Wolf of Wall Street joined the chart at No. 19. There was little change at the top of the chart with Tenet, Honest Thief and The War with Grandpa each dropping one spot, to Nos. 2, 3 and 4.
