Continue below for the new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ for January 7, 2021 (compiled of data for the week ended 01.02.21) and the second one this week as things balance back to the normal schedule following the Holidays.

The new ‘DEG Top 20’ list for January 7, 2021 sees ‘Tenet’ once again claiming the top spot after slipping to third last week, while newcomers ‘The War With Grandpa’ and ‘Honest Thief’ also debut on the list in second and third place respectively. Meanwhile, ‘The Office: Seasons 1-9’ jumps all the way up to fourth from sixteenth this week following its streaming move to Peacock, and ‘Yellowstone: Season 1’ settles into fifth to round out the top five. The new Top 20 list also sees a handful of other new titles debuting including ‘The Craft: Legacy’ in twelfth, ‘Hunter Hunter’ in twentieth and more. SEVEN NEW FILMS JOIN DEG’S
“WATCHED AT HOME TOP 20” LIST

With Christmas passing, consumers turned away from holiday titles and embraced a wider range of entertainment, bringing seven new movies to DEG’s “Watched at Home Top 20” list. Christopher Nolan’s Tenet reclaimed the most-watched spot after it spent a week at No. 3. New entrants were led by family comedy The War with Grandpa at No. 2 and Liam Neeson actioner Honest Thief at No. 3. Also new this week: 2017’s Wonder Woman, drawing power from sequel Wonder Woman 1984’s Christmas Day bow on HBO Max, thrillers The Informer and Hunter Hunter, and horror sequel The Craft: Legacy.

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
