The news includes the renewal of TBS’s game show ‘The Misery Index’ for a third season, along with TruTV ordering ten additional episodes of the spin-off series ‘Impractical Jokers: Dinner Party’. The announcement also comes with news that ‘Impractical Jokers: The Movie’ will be hitting HBO Max in September and the previously delayed ninth season of ‘Impractical Jokers’ has additionally been revealed to be resuming production this month. Some fantastic news today for fellow fans of the ‘Impractical Jokers’ team as TruTV has officially renewed the series for an eighth season. As if that wasn’t great news in itself, it has additionally been announced that a feature film for the brand is now in the works with ‘Funny Or Die’ set to produce and Chris Henchy to direct. The film will reportedly tell the story of a humiliating high school mishap in 1992 which set them on the course for the show.
