Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases for ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’. The new film directed by Jason Reitman will arrive home early on Digital beginning January 4, followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on February 1, 2022. A ‘Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection’ 4K UHD set featuring the original two films and the new one loaded with extras and collectible packaging will also be released on February 1. With theaters still shut down across the country and no knowledge of when things may return to some semblance of normalcy, Sony Pictures has now pushed back the releases of ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ and ‘Morbius’ from this Summer to March 2021, in addition to delaying a couple others without dates and moving up the comedy ‘Fatherhood’.
