After committing an unthinkable act, Bruce leaves Gotham while asking Dick to remain and keep the city safe in his absence. After reassembling the Titans in Gotham, Nightwing/Dick and the rest of the team quickly find the city under a new threat from the Red Hood, but when they realize that the man behind the mask used to be one of their own, they must decide whether to try and save him or merely take him down. Enlisting the help of Barbara Gordon, Dick is led to Dr. Crane, aka Scarecrow to help him in his quest, but little does he realize that everything is far from what it seems and things are about to become drastically worse.

[Blu-Ray Review] ‘Titans: The Complete Third Season’; Now Available On Blu-ray, DVD & Digital From DC - Warner Bros 2

Season 3 of ‘Titans’ is another tense, gritty and violent collection of episodes that sees our family of heroes take up residence in Gotham City, a thoroughly familiar environment for DC fans which leads to plenty of fun nods and references to Batman and his world, while also helping to keep this series fresh. Very few shows such as this tend to change up the location and scenery every season and it helps to keep every season of the show feeling simultaneously familiar and unique in its own right. The third season has some rough and even relatively shocking moments, emotional struggles and of course plenty of rough-edged and beautifully choreographed fight sequences, along with some new characters arriving on the scene this time around. It all comes together into one of the show’s best seasons yet and fans who haven’t yet had a chance to check out season three will most certainly want to make a point of doing so sooner than later, especially with season four already underway on HBO Max.
