Today is a great day to be a fan of the sitcom ‘Young Sheldon’ as CBS has now granted the series a massive 3-season renewal, renewing the series for season 5, 6 and 7.

‘The Big Bang Theory’ spinoff series has continually proved a powerful addition to the CBS comedy lineup and is currently the most watched comedy series on Television. Therefore a renewal was largely expected considering the show’s popularity, but a three season renewal is still somewhat of a surprise; though certainly a welcome one for fellow fans of this humorous and heartwarming family sitcom.

The fourth season of ‘Young Sheldon’ is currently airing Thursday nights at 8/7c on CBS.
