'Halloween Kills', 'Halloween Ends' & 'The Forever Purge' Each Pushed Back 1 Year; New Teaser Released For 'Halloween Kills' 1With the current theatrical climate still in uncertainty and release dates being regularly shifted, Universal has now pushed back the releases of three upcoming Blumhouse films, delaying ‘Halloween Kills’, ‘Halloween Ends’ and ‘The Forever Purge’ by a year each. In addition to the delays, the studio has also revealed a new teaser video for ‘Halloween Kills’ which you can watch below.

The new release dates for these Blumhouse and Universal releases mean that ‘Halloween Kills’ which is in post-production and was previously scheduled for October 16, 2020 is now slated for release on October 15, 2021, while the follow-up ‘Halloween Ends’ which was set for that October 15, 2021 release is now planned for release on October 14, 2022.

Meanwhile, the new entry in the Purge franchise ‘The Forever Purge’ which was planned for a July release this year before being temporarily pulled from the calendar is now set for a July 9, 2021 release.

Accompanying the news of the delays, Universal has also released a new Teaser Trailer for ‘Halloween Kills’ which you can watch below. The new Teaser is followed by a note from David Gordon Green and John Carpenter regarding the delay for ‘Halloween’.
