Synopsis:
The Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet. Michael manages to free himself from Laurie Strode’s (Jamie Lee Curtis) trap to resume his ritual bloodbath. As Laurie fights for her life from injuries from her last encounter with Michael, she inspires her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), and all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The vigilante mob then sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all. Evil dies tonight. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of David Gordon Green’s ‘Halloween Kills’ which will include an Extended Cut of the film with approximately four minutes of additional footage. The film will be available to own on Digital beginning December 14, followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on January 11, 2022. With the current theatrical climate still in uncertainty and release dates being regularly shifted, Universal has now pushed back the releases of three upcoming Blumhouse films, delaying ‘Halloween Kills’, ‘Halloween Ends’ and ‘The Forever Purge’ by a year each.
