Fans of the Tim Allen led sitcom ‘Last Man Standing’ and the medical drama ‘The Resident’ can now rest easy as Fox has renewed both series for the upcoming 2020-21 season.

The renewals for both aren’t entirely surprising as Fox has shown plenty of faith in each, with ‘Last Man Standing’ renewed for its ninth season (and its third since moving to Fox following its cancellation on ABC) and ‘The Resident’ renewed for a fourth season. Both are expected to debut mid-season during this uncertain time with production still on halt.
