Fans of the DC Comics series can now rest a bit easier, as Fox has officially renewed ‘Gotham’ for a fifth season which will also be its last.

Reports say that an episode count for the final season is undermined at this point, but either way the series will be returning for the 2018-19 season to wrap things up and provide some closure.
