It looks like the modern Sherlock Holmes series ‘Elementary’ won’t be going anywhere soon as CBS has officially renewed the show for a seventh season only weeks after the sixth season’s awaited debut. While the show continues to prove only a moderate ratings provider, it’s reported to be a strong international player which was likely a key factor in its renewal.

The sixth season of ‘Elementary’ which stars Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu is currently airing Mondays at 10/9c on CBS.

‘Elementary’s’ renewal on the network follows the recently announced cancellations of sitcoms ‘Kevin Can Wait’ and ‘9JKL’ by CBS.
