Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed the DVD release for ‘Blunt Talk: The Complete First Season’; the Starz Original Series starring Patrick Stewart will be available to own on DVD August 30, 2016. BEVERLY HILLS, CA (July 11, 2016) – “Blunt Talk,” the hilarious and smart new STARZ Original series starring Patrick Stewart (“Star Trek” franchise, X-Men franchise, Wolverine franchise), who received a 2016 Golden Globe® nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy for his role in the series, will be released on DVD August 30, 2016 from Anchor Bay Entertainment. Executive produced by Academy Award® nominee Seth MacFarlane (“Family Guy,” Ted), The 10-episode half-hour series, set in Los Angeles, follows Walter Blunt (Stewart), a British import intent on conquering the world of American cable news. Through the platform of his nightly news show, Blunt is on a mission to impart his wisdom and guidance on how Americans should live, think and behave. The witty comedy also stars Academy Award® nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook, The Five-Year Engagement) as Rosalie, Blunt’s tough and motherly producer-manager, Adrian Scarborough (The King’s Speech, Les Miserables) as Harry, Blunt’s manservant, and Timm Sharp (“Enlightened,” “Til Death”).
