Today we bring you a special treat, the opening scene (first six minutes) of the ‘Maniac’ remake produced by Alexadre Aja and starring Elijah Wood.  You can check out the opening scene after the jump.

Immediately below you can check out the first six minutes of the film thanks to Bloody-Disgusting who appears to have come across the opening segment via French press outlets today.

‘Maniac’ is set to be released in 2013 via IFC Midnight though no release date has yet been set.  We will keep you posted as more info becomes available.
