‘Under The Dome’ Renewed For Summer 2014

What was once set as a one shot 13 episode series adapting Stephen King’s novel, ‘Under The Dome’ is no longer sticking to that plan (most likely in big part due to the shockingly large summer ratings the series continues to achieve) and has been renewed for a second 13 episode season which is set to air next summer. It was also announced that Stephen King would be writing the first episode of season two, so that’s certainly some good news. You can read the press release regarding the announcement after the jump. CBS Officially Announces Their 2013-2014 Schedule Including ‘Person Of Interest’ Moving To Tuesday, ‘Hawaii Five-0’ To Friday & More

Following the announcements by NBC, FOX & ABC, CBS has now officially announced their 2013-2014 primetime schedule, including ‘Person Of Interest’ moving to Tuesday, ‘Hawaii Five-0’ moving to Friday, and Thursday’s sitcom block being expanded by an hour. CBS Renews ‘Two And A Half Men’ For Eleventh Season; Possibly Without Angus T. Jones

While the news was announced late last week, CBS has now issued an official press release announcing the renewal of ‘Two And A Half Men’ for an eleventh season. While Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer have already signed deals for an additional year, discussions are still up in the air with Angus T. Jones, so it is uncertain at this point whether or not he will return next season. Either way it seems CBS is determined to move ahead with at least one more season of the popular series. ‘Golden Boy’ Permanently Takes Tuesday Slot While ‘Vegas’ Get’s Dumped On Friday Nights

CBS has issued a press release announcing that ‘Golden Boy’ will permanently retain the Tuesday at 10:PM time slot, while ‘Vegas’ will be moved to Friday’s at 9:PM.  Considering that I’m a huge fan of ‘Vegas’ and the show seems to just continue to get better, it’s truly sad news to see it dumped into the Friday death slot.  Continue on after the jump to check out the full press release.
