We have some slightly belated news from Lionsgate Home Entertainment who has officially announced and detailed their Blu-ray and DVD releases of ‘The Walking Dead: The Complete Seventh Season’. The latest season of the immensely popular series will be available to own on both formats beginning August 22, 2017. Paramount Home Media Distribution has sent over a press release officially announcing and detailing their home entertainment releases of the recent ‘Baywatch’ film starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron. The film which will arrive home on various formats sporting an ‘Extended Cut’ will be available two weeks early on Digital HD beginning August 15 and followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on August 29, 2017. Walt Disney Home Entertainment has now officially announced (once again via the D23 expo) the latest installment in their ongoing Walt Disney Signature Collection lineup. ‘The Lion King’ will mark the next Walt Disney Signature release and also appears to be titled ‘The Circle of Life Edition’. It will be available to own early on Digital beginning August 15, followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on August 29, 2017 and will feature some new bonus goodies. Disney and Marvel Studios have now officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ which will also mark the first 4K Ultra HD release from Disney. The film will arrive home Digitally in HD and 4K Ultra HD August 8, followed by the 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD releases on August 22, 2017. A 3D Blu-ray edition will also be available via a Best Buy Exclusive Combo Pack release.
