Synopsis:
Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) is a man of many faces. A former Olympic athlete, respected educator and father of two, he’s also Black Lightning, superpowered protector of Freeland. But Jefferson is not alone. His oldest daughter, Anissa (Nafessa Williams), is a med student, part-time teacher and social activist. She is also the Super Hero known as Thunder, possessing invulnerability and super strength for as long as she can hold her breath. Jefferson’s youngest daughter, Jennifer (China Anne McClain), is a fiery teen who inherited her father’s athletic gifts but not his desire to be an athlete. Jennifer also inherited his powers. Her body generates pure electrical energy, and she possesses the potential to be more powerful than Anissa or Jefferson. Lynn (Christine Adams), Jefferson’s ex-wife, is fast becoming an expert in metahuman medicine. Together, the Pierce family fights the gang known as the One Hundred for the soul of Freeland. ‘Jiu Jitsu’; Arrives On DVD December 22, 2020 From Paramount
Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced their physical release of the new action film ‘Jiu Jitsu’ which stars Alain Moussi, Frank Grillo, Rick Yune, Marie Avgeropoulos, Juju Chan with Tony Jaa and Nicolas Cage. Synopsis:
After watching the season’s final performance of “The Nutcracker” ballet on Christmas Eve, Jerry dreams of dancing with the beautiful prima ballerina, who captivates him with her graceful performance. After the theater patrons leave, Jerry climbs onto the stage and begins to dance on his own, as Tuffy Mouse cheers him on. Through the magic of Christmas Eve, Jerry is suddenly transformed into one of the dancers. Costumed to look like regal prince, he takes center stage, which turns into a winter wonderland, as all the toy props around him come to life, and music from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker” begins to play. A petite music box ballerina springs to life and joins Jerry as the two of them dance their way into the Nutcracker’s magical realm. It seems as though Jerry’s “The Nutcracker” fantasy has finally become a reality. That’s until Tom and his band of alley cats enter through the theater’s stage door, capture all the toys and lock the beautiful ballerina in a cage. DEG Watched At Home Top 20 List For 11/12/20: After We Collided, Home Alone
Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20 List’ posts where we continue to keep you informed on all of the most popular movies and TV shows watched at home each week, always compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group. This week’s new ‘DEG Top 20’ list for November 12, 2020 yet again sees ‘After We Collided’ holding tightly to the top spot, while Warner’s new box set for ‘Game of Thrones: The Complete Series’ moves up into second place as last week’s number 2 spot holder ‘Hocus Pocus’ leaves the list. Meanwhile, ‘Trump Card’ moves from third to fourth this week as ‘Antebellum’ arrives on the list in third and ‘Yellowstone: Season 1’ takes fifth while ‘Spell’ moves all the way down to twentieth this week. Some other classics also appear on the list this week including ‘Home Alone’ in eleventh and ‘V For Vendetta’ in twelfth.
