Time Warner Cable Suspends SHOWTIME Services Nationwide Despite Networks Offer to Continue Carriage

For those Time Warner customers out there who had their service interrupted today, you are not going to be happy to find out its not simply an error or glitch. ‘Under The Dome’ Renewed For Summer 2014

What was once set as a one shot 13 episode series adapting Stephen King’s novel, ‘Under The Dome’ is no longer sticking to that plan (most likely in big part due to the shockingly large summer ratings the series continues to achieve) and has been renewed for a second 13 episode season which is set to air next summer. It was also announced that Stephen King would be writing the first episode of season two, so that’s certainly some good news. You can read the press release regarding the announcement after the jump. James Franco Set To Guest-Star On Two-Episode Arc Of ‘The Mindy Project’

In some network TV news, it has been announced that James Franco will guest star in a two-episode arc of Mindy Kaling’s Fox sitcom ‘The Mindy Project’ beginning with the Season premiere on Tuesday September 17. I suppose this isn’t too big of a shock as they worked together on ‘This is the End’ and run in a lot of the same circles and Seth Rogen guest starred on the series last season as well.
