‘Roseanne’ Cancelled By ABC Following Barr’s Offensive Tweets; Upcoming Eleventh Season Scrapped
Following some innapropriate and racist tweets by Roseanne Barr that has already made news headlines, and the subsequent announcement from Wanda Sykes that she would not be returning to the show, ABC has now stepped up and officially canceled ‘Roseanne’ which includes scrapping plans for the previously renewed eleventh season. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their Digital, Blu-ray and DVD releases of ‘Ash vs. Evil Dead: Season Three’ which after the recent cancellation of the series by Starz will now additionally serve as the final season of the show. The third and final season will be available to own early on Digital beginning May 25 and followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on August 21, 2018. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has sent over a press release officially announcing and detailing their home entertainment releases of ‘Ready Player One’. Based upon the book by Ernest Cline and directed by Steven Spielberg, the film will arrive home early on Digital beginning July 3 and will be followed by the 4K Ultra HD, 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD releases on July 24, 2018. Lionsgate Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed their home entertainment releases of ‘You Were Never Really Here’ starring Joaquin Phoenix. The film will arrive home early on Digital July 3, followed by the Blu-ray and DVD releases on July 17, 2018. Syfy has officially renewed the Superman Origin series ‘Krypton’ for a second season on the cable network which is planned to debut in the Summer of 2019. 
Some disappointing news for fellow fans of the freshman comedy series ‘LA To Vegas’ starring Dylan McDermott as after reports of attempting to find a winning formula to bump numbers next season, Fox reported Monday night that they have officially pulled the plug on the show after one season. 
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced their DVD release for the debut season of the amazon series ‘Sneaky Pete’ starring Giovanni Ribisi. ‘Sneaky Pete: Season One’ will arrive home on DVD on July 17, 2018. At this point it would appear that no Blu-ray release seems to be planned, nor are there any extras mentioned as being included on the DVD release, but we’ll of course make sure to keep you posted if anything changes or any additional updates become available.
