Since Kevin has done many things for Liberaldead.com, I thought I would help him out a little bit, and share this new weekly Blu-ray and DVD roundup with him on his site as well. Keep in mind that this will only be a compilation of releases that I have been sent for coverage. On occasion, if a major release is coming out that I haven’t been provided, I reserve the right to include it as well. Because, as much as I like to think that I am sent practically anything my little black heart desires, every now and then a PR firm runs out of copies before they get to my name. Anyway, these are what I would refer to as “noteworthy” Blu-ray and DVD releases for the week of 6/17/2014.

A list of 5 phenomenal films released in 2013 that didn’t get the attention or respect they deserved

Now that 2013 is officially behind us and we have begun delving into 2014, I thought I would take a look back at the previous year (a year which was filled with a far larger quantity of phenomenal films than usual) and give mention to a few select films that were some of my favorites this year and which I also felt got little or no attention or respect when they more than deserved it. A list of 5 currently running TV Shows you should be watching if you are not already!

First off, a simple fact about myself that some may not be aware of: I am a television nut as much as I am a movie nut. I only watch scripted television but I watch a very hefty amount of it and there are a vast number of great shows out there. Since at this point I watch such a ridiculous amount of shows, I have a wide variety of shows to pick and choose from (I probably watch somewhere in the vicinity of 50 currently running shows, give or take) so I thought I would suggest some of my favorites for the readers out there who may have missed out or not realized what they were missing out on with some of these great shows.
