The sagebrush rage began with Cheyenne, an epic series of gun blazing action and panoramic prairie vistas that ran for seven top-rated seasons and helped turn a nation of accountants, salesclerks, and kids into armchair cowpokes. The source of Cheyenne’s significant popularity was its charismatic and heroic leading man, Clint Walker, who rose to instant TV-star fame as Cheyenne Bodie, six-and-a-half feet of cowboy brawn, courage and integrity. Warner Archive, please tell us you have something planned for more Scooby releases. In terms of film preservation, now is the time to release what you can to Blu-ray before Zaslav changes his mind about you having release rights for the franchise.
I would have thought The Roaring 20’s would be released first, because the music in it would be Public Domain by now. That would not be the case with Hawaiian Eye.
When are we getting Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird?
Just Friends got delayed until April 8, 2025. I just received my copy today and … I don’t know if it’s a packaging error or press release error (I’m waiting on a response to my email inquiry from WB to open it, in case I have to send it back). But the press release mentions the legacy extras from the DVD and 5.1 surround. The packaging says Original Theatrical Trailer as the only extra and 2.0 Stereo. So, if this was the actual planned release, this is severely disappointing. If the disc is right and it’s just the packaging that’s wrong, WB needs to tighten things up in their production department. I’ll post here if/when I hear anything further from WB or anywhere else.
