The ‘South Park’ Special Event ‘Not Suitable for Children’ sees things getting adult, even for this town and its foul-mouthed youngsters. When it’s uncovered that a teacher at South Park elementary has an OnlyFans account, the parents of the schoolchildren try to discuss the reality of the situation with their kids, only for it to send the town into a new frenzy, while the kids themselves could care less and are only interested in staying popular with the assistance of CRED, a new sports drink that’s become all the rage. Randy Marsh on the other hand has a slightly different idea and believes that he can supplement his income by joining the craze and creating his own account, but when Sharon gets irritated and threatens to create her own account, Randy gets fed up at his inability to curate a following on the platform, leading to an exploration of the seedy, twisted world of online influencers.

‘South Park: Not Suitable for Children’ brings fans of the iconic animated series a new, more “adult” special event that explores the world of adult content and social media influencers, along with the ridiculous trends that kids feel they are forced to keep up with in this ever-evolving and erratic world; all told with the usual humorous and snarky style that only ‘South Park’ can repeatedly manage to accomplish so flawlessly. In typical ‘South Park’ fashion it never pulls its punches and instead goes full out with the approach including showcasing Randy walking around bottomless, with graphic (animated) nudity on display for an almost shocking amount of the special, even for this series and then it finds plenty of clever ways to explore the world of social media influencers, not to mention how much easier it is for some compared to others to find a following in the online world.

The new special event also does a great job of tackling the various trends that kids struggle with and that can often mean the difference between someone being popular or an outcast, and here that latest trend is a sports drink fittingly named CRED, with the kids struggling to fit in based on their CRED and how much or what flavor of CRED they’re fortunate enough to have. As is so often the case, it all makes a perfect formula for another hilarious and twisted outing with ‘South Park’ that has little trouble keeping the laughs (and eye rolls) coming at a steady pace.
