Some wonderful news today for fans of ABC’s ‘The Rookie’ starring Nathan Fillion as the network has officially renewed the series for Season 7.

The renewal for Season 7 of the series arrives after another well performing season in the currently airing season 6 and secures the series’ return on ABC for the 2024-25 season.

The renewal is once again no surprise, but surely fans will be thrilled even so to have it made official.

‘The Rookie’ which is currently airing its sixth season on ABC Tuesday nights stars Nathan Fillion, Mekia Cox, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, and Eric Winter, along with Jenna Dewan, Shawn Ashmore and more.

Series Synopsis: John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD, has used his life experience, determination, and sense of humor to keep up with rookies 20 years his junior. Nearing the end of his training, Nolan now faces his biggest challenge as a police officer yet when he must come to terms with the choices he has made in pursuit of the truth.
