Paramount Home Entertainment has officially announced their releases for the crime-thriller ‘Finestkind’ written and directed by Brian Helgeland and starring Ben Foster, Jenna Ortega and Tommy Lee Jones. The film will be available on Digital beginning March 26, followed by the DVD release on April 9, 2024. A gripping crime thriller with a star-studded cast, FINESTKIND arrives to buy on Digital March 26, 2024 from Paramount Home Entertainment.  The film will arrive on DVD April 9.

 

Written and directed by Academy Award®-winner^* Brian Helgeland (L.A. Confidential, Mystic River), FINESTKIND features an exceptional cast including Ben Foster (Hell or High Water), Oscar® winner^** Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men), Jenna Ortega (Scream), and rising star Toby Wallace (Babyteeth).   The gritty and captivating crime drama explores complicated family ties and the determined crew of a commercial fishing boat called FINESTKIND.

 

Set in New Bedford, Mass., America’s biggest commercial fishing port, FINESTKIND tells the story of two brothers (Ben Foster, Toby Wallace) from opposite sides of the tracks, who are reunited as adults over one fateful summer. When desperate circumstances force them to strike a deal with a dangerous Boston crime syndicate, a young woman (Jenna Ortega) finds herself caught in the middle.

 

Along the way, sacrifices must be made, and bonds between brothers, friends, and a father (Tommy Lee Jones) and his son are put to the test.

 

Following its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and screenings at numerous additional film festivals, FINESTKIND debuted on Paramount+.
