‘Gotham Knights’ Cancelled By The CW

gotham knights cancelledThe freshman DC Comics series ‘Gotham Knights’ won’t be receiving a second season and has now been officially cancelled by The CW ahead of its season one finale later this month.

‘Gotham Knights’ was the latest addition to the once ever-growing number of DC Comics titles on The CW and follows a group of  troubled kids (many of which are children of Batman’s enemies) who join forces following the death of Batman which is adopted son is framed for.

The days of countless DC Comics series on The CW lineup has come to an end as the new team behind the network has made huge changes in order to revamp the network beginning next year. Unfortunately for fans of this freshman DC series, though not overly surprisingly considering the recent trend, ‘Gotham Knights’ has now been cancelled. The season one finale of the series which is set to air June 27, 2023 on the network will now additionally serve as the series finale.

‘Gotham Knights’ is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Executive Producers on the series include Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Leigh London Redman.

The cast of ‘Gotham Knights’ includes Oscar Morgan as Turner Hayes, Olivia Rose Keegan as Duela, Navia Robinson as Carrie Kelley / Robin, Fallon Smythe as Harper Row, Tyler DiChiara as Cullen Row, Anna Lore as Stephanie Brown, Misha Collins as Harvey Dent, and Rahart Adams as Brody March.

‘Gotham Knights’ Short Synopsis: In the wake of Bruce Wayne’s murder, his adopted son Turner Hayes (Oscar Morgan) is framed for killing the Caped Crusader, along with the children of some of Batman’s enemies.
