‘Young Rock’ & ‘Grand Crew’ Cancelled By NBC

young rock cancelled, grand crew cancelledNBC has now revealed the fates for 2 previously undecided sitcoms as they have officially cancelled ‘Young Rock’ and ‘Grand Crew’.

The announcement today from NBC confirms that ‘Young Rock’ has now been cancelled after 3 seasons, while ‘Grand Crew’ has been cancelled after 2 seasons. Also noted was that there has been no decision made as of yet for their other undecided sitcom ‘American Auto’. We’ll be sure to let you know when an official decision has been revealed for that series.

Young Rock‘ concluded its third season on NBC in February of 2023. The series was created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang and was inspired by Dwayne Johnson’s life. The cast of the series included Dwayne Johnson, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Ana Tuisila, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Fasitua Amosa, John Tui and Matthew Willig.

Young Rock: Season 3 Synopsis: The third season of “Young Rock” follows Dwayne Johnson as he navigates his meteoric rise from unknown wrestler to Hollywood superstar. Together, Dwayne and his unorthodox family face locker room politics, new rivalries and the perils of burgeoning fame as he finds his voice in the WWE as the Rock. Told through unbelievable stories from his own life, the show follows Dwayne’s electrifying journey to the top and the colorful characters that keep him grounded – even as he sets his sights on ever-bigger arenas.

Grand Crew‘ wrapped up its second season on NBC in late April, 2023. It was executive produced by Phil Augusta Jackson and Dan Goor. The cast of ‘Grand Crew’ included Echo Kellum, Nicole Byer, Aaron Jennings, Justin Cunningham, Carl Tart and Grasie Mercedes.

Grand Crew Synopsis: From Phil Augusta Jackson (writer, producer and director, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) and Dan Goor (creator, “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”) comes the second season of “Grand Crew,” the hangout comedy about friendship and wine.
