This edition of TV News Nibblets comes with news on numerous renewals including the popular Apple TV+ series ‘The Morning Show’, Netflix’s ‘The Diplomat’ and FreeVee’s ‘Bosch: Legacy’, along with ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ on Fox which each receive additional seasons. ‘The Morning Show’ Renewed For Season 4 by Apple
The hit Apple Original Series ‘The Morning Show’ has now been officially renewed for Season 4 well ahead of its Season 3 debut on Apple TV+ which has yet to set a premiere date. The drama series follows a cutthroat morning news team and all of the chaos they must tackle both inside and outside of the newsroom. The series stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Steve Carell and Billy Crudup.

‘The Diplomat’ Renewed For Season 2 by Netflix
The Netflix dramatic-thriller ‘The Diplomat’ has been renewed for Season 2 following the recent season 1 debut late last month which took off with viewers of the streaming service. The Debora Cahn created series follows a career diplomat that finds herself in way over her head in the midst of an international crisis. The series stars Keri Russell and Rufus Sewell.

‘9-1-1′ Cancelled by Fox; Moving to ABC For Season 7
The flagship ‘9-1-1’ series which started it all and launched the spin-off series ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ will not be returning on Fox for Season 7 as the network has cancelled it on their network. Fortunately for fans of the series it won’t just be going away and the news of Fox’s cancellation is accompanied by confirmation that ABC has picked up ‘9-1-1’ for Season 7. The series stars Angela Bassett and Peter Krause.

‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ Renewed For Season 5 by Fox
Fox may not be keeping the flagship ‘9-1-1’ series on its lineup next season, but they will be keeping ‘9-1-1: Lone Star’ around and the network has officially renewed the spin-off series for Season 5. The series stars Rob Lowe, Gina Torres, and Ronen Rubinstein.

‘Bosch: Legacy’ Renewed For Season 3 by FreeVee
The ‘Bosch’ spin-off/continuation of the crime-drama series ‘Bosch: Legacy’ has been renewed by FreeVee for Season 3 ahead of the show’s sophomore season which is expected to debut this Fall on Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service. The series stars Titus Welliver, Anthony Gonzales, Mimi Rogers and Madison Lintz.

‘Judy Justice’ Renewed For 2 Additional Seasons by FreeVee
Amazon’s FreeVee has also renewed the Judge Judy Sheindlin created and produced series ‘Judy Justice’ for 2 more seasons which has delivered notable viewership numbers for the service. The brand is also reported to expand with a docudrama in the works titled ‘Justice on Trial’ which will explore the American justice system.
