RLJE Films and Shudder have officially announced and detailed their physical releases for ‘V/H/S/99’. The new installment in the horror anthology franchise will be available to own in the states on Blu-ray, DVD and in a Blu-ray + DVD Steelbook on May 23, 2023. LOS ANGELES (April 24, 2023) – RLJE Films, a business unit of AMC Networks, has picked up select rights to the horror film V/H/S/99 from Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural. RLJE Films will release V/H/S/99 on DVD, BluRay and BluRay/DVD SteelBook^® on May 23, 2023.

 

Written and directed by Maggie Levin (Into The Dark), Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down), Flying Lotus (Kuso), Tyler MacIntyre (Tragedy Girls), Vanessa Winter (Deadstream) and Joseph Winter (Deadstream); Zoe Cooper (V/H/S/85) and Chris Lee Hill (Tragedy Girls) also served as writers.

 

V/H/S/99 stars Steven Ogg (“The Walking Dead”), Ally Ioannides (Synchronic), Keanush Tafreshi (Weird: The Al Yankovic Story), Emily Sweet (Castle Freak), and Archelaus Crisanto (“The Chosen”). The DVD will be available for an SRP of $27.97, the BluRay will be available for an SRP of $28.96 and the BluRay/DVD SteelBook^® will be available for an SRP of $35.97.

 

In V/H/S/99, a thirsty teenager’s home video leads to a series of horrifying revelations. Featuring five new stories from filmmakers Maggie Levin, Johannes Roberts, Flying Lotus, Tyler MacIntyre and Joseph & Vanessa Winter, V/H/S/99 harkens back to the final punk rock analog days of VHS, while taking one giant leap forward into the hellish new millennium.
