the mighty ducks game changers cancelled, big shot cancelledIt looks like two sports-centered family series on Disney+ have come to the end of their run as it was announced today that both ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ and ‘Big Shot’ have been cancelled after two seasons.

The cancellation of ‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ was revealed today just under three months after the show’s second season concluded its run on November 30.

The cancellation of ‘Big Shot’ was also confirmed today which arrives over four months after that series’ second season conclusion on October 12.

Unfortunately for fans of either or both shows, multiple sources have now confirmed that neither series will be returning for a third season on Disney+.

‘The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers’ starred Lauren Graham in the lead and ran for two seasons on the streaming service. The series served as both a spinoff and sequel to ‘The Mighty Ducks’ films which starred Emilio Estevez (Estevez also reprised his role from the films as a series regular in season 1) and focused on a new group of kids entering the world of Hockey and working to make their way to success.

‘Big Shot’ starred John Stamos and focused on a man who after being ousted by the NCAA is offered the chance to coach at an elite private private high school where he finds himself challenged in more ways than he expected.

Were you a fan of either or both series and are you disappointed that they won’t be returning for additional seasons on Disney+? Don’t hesitate to sound off in the comments below with your thoughts on the news and the series themselves.
