Fans of the Netflix series ‘Wednesday’ can rest easy as the streaming service has officially renewed the Jenna Ortega led ‘The Addams Family’ series for season 2.

The renewal for a second season of ‘Wednesday’ is far from surprising (yet no less welcome) considering the impressive numbers the series pulled in for Netflix, repeatedly topping its charts.  The first season of the series is currently available to stream on Netflix in its entirety.

The renewal was revealed with a video announcement which you can watch below.

Created by Al Gough and Miles Millar, ‘Wednesday’ will also mark the TV directorial debut of legendary filmmaker Tim Burton. The series will star Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more.
