‘House of the Dragon’ is set to debut on HBO and HBO Max August 21, 2022.

‘House of the Dragon‘ will serve as a prequel series to ‘Game of Thrones’ and will consist of ten episodes. It is set to debut Sunday August 21, 2022 on HBO and Streaming on HBO Max. The loose synopsis for the series is: ‘Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.”

The show’s key cast will include Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans. It will also feature Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Emily Carey, Harry Collett, Ryan Corr, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Graham McTavish, Ewan Mitchell, Theo Nate, Matthew Needham, Bill Paterson, Phia Saban, Gavin Spokes, and Savannah Steyn.
