Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list posts where we continue to keep you updated with all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home each week, compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group.
This week’s ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for June 2, 2022 (compiled of data for the week ended 5.28.22) sees the top two spots remain unchanged as ‘Uncharted‘ holds steadily in first for yet another week, while ‘Morbius’ stays strong in second. Meanwhile, ‘The Batman‘ jumps into third from ninth last week following its physical release, followed by ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’ which debuts in fourth, and ‘The Lost City’ holds firmly in fifth again to round out the top five. The Batman Soars into Top 3
This week on the Watched at Home Top 20 chart The Batman and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 jump into the top 5, pushing Dog and Spider-Man: No Way Home down to No. 6 and No. 7, respectively. A24’s slasher flick, X, returns after a few week’s away, following its physical release. Four new titles shake up this week’s chart, including Top Gun and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, as audience excitement builds with the theatrical release of both their sequels.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
