Some good news today for fans of the horror/comedy series ‘Shining Vale’ as Starz has now renewed the show for a second season.

The renewal for season 2 of ‘Shining Vale’ arrives less than a month after the first season concluded its eight episode run on April 17.

The series follows a troubled family that moves into an ancient home hoping for a fresh start only to have the previous residents haunt their lives, resulting in even more chaos and trouble than they were trying to escape. The series was created by Jeff Astrof and Sharon Horgan. It stars Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear, Gus Birney, Dylan Gage and Mira Sorvino.

News of the renewal was first reported by Deadline who also revealed that the second season has been granted an 8-episode season order matching season 1.
