Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list posts where we continue to keep you updated every week with all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home, compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group like always.
This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for May 5, 2022 (compiled of data for the week ended 4.30.22) sees a slight shift in the top few titles after a couple weeks of no change. ‘Uncharted’ debuts on the list this week in the top spot, followed by ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ which drops one spot into second as a result. ‘Moonfall’ holds steady for another week at third, followed by ‘Sing 2’ which slips a couple spots into fourth and ‘Dog’ holds firm in fifth for one more week to round out the top five. ‘Uncharted’ Charts at No. 1
Video game adaptation Uncharted claimed the No. 1 spot on the Watched at Home chart in its first week of availability for digital purchase, pushing the previous Top 3 – Spider-Man: No Way Home, Moonfall and Sing 2 all down a notch. Two other new titles charted 10 rungs apart this week – crime drama The Devil You Know at No. 7, and documentary Countdown to Disclosure: The Secret Technology Behind the Space Force at No. 17.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
