It looks like fans of the Matt Reeves directed ‘The Batman’ film starring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader can look forward to reuniting with the pair as Warner Bros. and Matt Reeves confirmed today at CinemaCon that a sequel is in the works.

Following a stellar box office performance, critical acclaim as well as a noteworthy debut for its HBO Max streaming arrival, it’s not big surprise that Warner Bros. Pictures would be interested in a sequel.

Today at the CinemaCon presentation in Las Vegas it was revealed that a sequel is in the works with Matt Reeves and Robert Pattinson returning. Deadline posted the news with a quote from Matt Reeves who appeared briefly at the presentation to say “Thank you all for your tremendous support for The Batman. We couldn’t have gotten here without the faith and enthusiasm of all your teams around the world. “I’m excited to jump back into this world for the next chapter.”
