Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list posts where we keep you updated on all of the most popular movies and TV shows watched at home each week, compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group like always.
This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for April 21, 2022 (compiled of data for the week ended 4.16.22) sees the top three spots unchanged as ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ holds securely to first for yet another week, once again followed by ‘Sing 2’ in second and ‘Moonfall’ in third. Meanwhile, ‘Marry Me’ improves one spot taking fourth, followed by the ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming, Far From Home and No Way Home’ three pack in fifth rounding out the top five. Three-peat for Top 3 Titles
It was a third week at the top for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sing 2 and Moonfall as three new titles joined the Watched at Home Top 20 in the Easter holiday week, but all in the lower ranks. Mark Wahlberg vehicle Infinite came on the chart at No. 17, followed by suspenser Alice at No. 18 and 1956 biblical classic The Ten Commandments, making a holiday showing at No. 19.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
