DEG Watched At Home Top 20 List For 04/14/22: Spider-Man: No Way Home, Scream 1Welcome back to another new installment of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list posts where we keep you updated with all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home each week, compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group like always.

This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for April 14, 2022 (compiled of data for the week ended 4.9.22) once again finds ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ holding onto the top spot, while ‘Sing 2’ stays in second for another week, once again followed by ‘Moonfall’ in third. The new ‘Scream‘ film jumps up into fourth from twentieth last week, which nudges ‘Marry Me’ back one spot into fifth to round out the top five. Spidey Hangs on to Top Spot

Literary mystery Death on the Nile was the only new release to join the Watched at Home chart this week, sailing in at No. 13 following its physical disc release. Otherwise, the rankings mostly just shuffled a bit, as Spider-Man: No Way HomeSing 2 and Moonfall held onto the Top 3 spots for a second week. In some of the biggest moves, Scream (2022) rose to No. 4 from No. 20 the prior week, and Will Smith vehicle King Richard fell from No. 5 to No. 18. Sonic the Hedgehog returned at No. 16 on a wave of anticipation for its sequel opening in theaters.

 

DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
