FX has now officially renewed their popular drama series ‘Snowfall’ for season 6 which will also be the final season of the series.

FX has officially renewed ‘Snowfall’ for a sixth and final season. The renewal arrives in the middle of the show’s fifth season which is set to conclude on April 20. The renewal may be somewhat bittersweet due to the fact that it will be ending after its next run, but at least fans will be able to see it end naturally. The fifth season has repeatedly pulled in impressive numbers for FX making the renewal fairly unsurprising, but no less rewarding for fans to see confirmed.

‘Snowfall’ takes place in the 1980’s and tells the story of the first crack epidemic in Los Angeles. It was created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron.
