Welcome back to another new edition of our weekly ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list posts where we make sure to keep you updated each week with all of the most popular movies and television shows watched at home, always compiled and released by the Digital Entertainment Group.
This week’s new ‘DEG Watched at Home Top 20’ list for March 3, 2022 (compiled of data for the week ended 2.26.22) once again finds ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife‘ holding steady to the top spot, while ‘House of Gucci‘ jumps into second this week from its place in tenth last week. Meanwhile ‘Eternals’ slips one place into third, followed by ‘The King’s Man’ in fourth and ‘Dune‘ which drops one place to fifth this week to round out the top five. ‘The King’s Man’ Takes a Seat in Top 5
It was a royal week on the Watched at Home Top 20, with The King’s Man, the latest installment in the World War I spy franchise debuting at No. 4 and bringing the earlier film Kingsman: The Secret Service along with it on to the chart at No. 20. Meanwhile, King Richard, based on the true story of the Williams tennis family, starts its reign at No. 14. The fourth new entry is female action film The 355, led by Jessica Chastain. Among returning titles, House of Gucci jumped eight spots to No. 2.
DEG compiles the ‘Watched at Home Top 20’ list with the most widely consumed titles on disc and digital during the previous week (except for outside subscription-based streaming platforms). Assembled with the newest studio and retailer data every seven days, it showcases current consumer enthusiasm for home viewing of the newest film and television releases.
